MARION - Sophomore Connor Graves outbattled the wind Monday to win medalist honors and lead John A. Logan College to a spring invitational tournament championship at Kokopelli Golf Course. The Volunteers completed Monday’s round at 304 to go along with Sunday’s total of 299 for a combined score of 603. Read more »

Logan Golfers Fall Back to Fourth

SCOTTSBORO, ALA. - The John A. Logan College men’s golf team improved their team score by four strokes Friday at 294, but fell back to fourth place, 14 strokes behind first-place Darten, Ga., which turned in a 279. Faulkner State (284) and Mississipi State Gulf (291) also passed the Volunteers in the standings through two rounds with one round left to play today. Read more »

JACKSON, TENN. - The John A. Logan College men’s golf team finished eighth Tuesday in a 12-team field at the Grover Page Classic hosted by the University of Tennessee-Martin. This time, however, the competition was against all four-year schools rather than two-year schools as was the case a week ago when the Vols opened the spring campaign in Georgia. Read more »

Logan Men Struggle at Golf Tourney in Georgia

ALBANY, GA. - It was a poor start to the spring season Monday for the John A. Logan College men’s golf team. The Volunteers, competing in a tournament in Albany, Georgia for two days, opened play with a 36-hole total of 638 or two rounds of 319, pushing them well out of the lead. Mount Carmel High School senior Reagan Keepes signed a letter of intent earlier this week to play golf next fall at John A. Logan College.
