JALC Announces Expanded Hours for Fitness Center
The John A. Logan College Community Heath Education Complex will have expanded hours effective with the start of the fall semester on August 15. The center will be open Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM and Saturday’s from 5:30 AM to 3 PM.
Aquatics Coordinator Chris Georgantas, said that the expanded hours will benefit area residents that would like to work out before or after work. “A lot of folks that work along the Route 13 corridor from Carbondale to Marion have said that they would like the opportunity to get their work-out in before work, which is why we feel that the expanded hours will be popular.”
Fall registration is currently underway at John A. Logan College with classes beginning on August 15. The Community Health Education Complex offers a variety of sections in aquatics, health education, weight lifting, and aerobic conditioning.
