CARTERVILLE – The Office of Student Activities and Cultural Events at John A. Logan College is accepting applications from artists and vendors who would like to reserve booth space at the 38th Annual AutumnFest Arts & Crafts Show at JALC on Nov. 9-10. The application deadline is Friday, July 26.
AutumnFest is a juried show that includes a wide range of original arts and crafts, jewelry, home décor items, and specialty foods made by original artists. The event draws around 7,000 shoppers each year, making it one of the largest in the region.
Emily Henson, who was recently hired as the coordinator of special events at Logan, is organizing the show.
“I’ve attended Autumnfest in the past. It’s a great event, and I’m enjoying coordinating it,” Henson said. “The show can accommodate over 100 exhibitors, and I’ve already received about 70 applications.”
Henson said those interested in participating in the craft show should fill out the application online.
“If vendors haven’t applied for the show before or we don’t have photos of their work on file, they will have to mail or email photos of their work to us,” Henson said. “The details are explained thoroughly on our Web site. Applicants who apply by July 26 will be notified by email on September 3 whether or not they are accepted.”
