Logan, Two Other JUCOs, Partner with McKendree

John A. Logan College President Dr. Robert Mees signed an articulation agreement Tuesday morning at the Man-Tra-Con office in Marion, marking an enhanced partnership with McKendree University in Lebanon in regard to the nursing program at both schools.

John A. Logan College President Dr. Robert Mees signed an articulation agreement Tuesday morning at the Man-Tra-Con office in Marion, marking an enhanced partnership with McKendree University in Lebanon in regard to the nursing program at both schools.

John A. Logan College has entered into an enhanced partnership with McKendree University in which students enrolled in Logan’s nursing program who complete the two-year program in good standing will be selected for admission into McKendree’s bachelor’s program as juniors. Read more »

Logan Men Win Second Tourney of Fall Season

Logan sophomore golfer Filip Timmerman was the medalist for the second straight year at the JALC Fall Invitational, shooting a 146 (72, 74).

Logan sophomore golfer Filip Timmerman was the medalist for the second straight year at the JALC Fall Invitational, shooting a 146 (72, 74).

Last year’s National Junior College Athletic Association Freshman of the Year and perhaps a candidate for this year’s award teamed up Monday to lead the John A. Logan College men’s golf team to its second tournament win in less than a week. Read more »

Logan Men Sneak by Rend Lake in Golf Opener

National powerhouse John A. Logan College opened its fall golf season on a positive note Friday, edging past Rend Lake College by one stroke, 600 to 601 over 36 holes, at the nine-team Region 24 Preview Tournament hosted by Rend Lake. Read more »
