Lady Vols Open Season with DH Sweep of Flo Valley

Sophomore lefthander Brittany Ashton, who has battled injuries in her two years at Logan, tossed a scoreless inning Sunday in the Vols’ 12-1 game-one victory over Florissant Valley. A Carterville native, Ashton was pitching on her home field.
