The John A. Logan College women’s golf team shot a 36-hole team score of 672 (327-345) to take 8th place at the Millikin Fall Classic held at Red Tail Run Golf Club in Decatur on September 26-27. Rend Lake College won the 19-team event, which included several four-year universities, with a team score of 627 (312-315).

Three Lady Vols finished in the top-25 led by sophomore Lindsay Kellerman of Pinckneyville who tied for 12th place with a 160 (78-82). Mallory Gentry, a sophomore from Metropolis, placed 20th with a 163 (79-84), and Murphysboro native Jenny Bernhardt shot a 166 (81-85) to tie for 24th. Kasey McCammack from Hillsboro carded a 183 (89-94) for Logan to tie for 67th, and freshman Talia Campbell of Mount Vernon finished tied for 70th with a 186 (91-95).

Logan will play its final match of the fall season at the University of Missouri St. Louis Triton Invite at Gateway Golf Links in Madison on October 5-6.
