Freshman centerfielder Brandon Alexander pounded out five hits and drove in a whopping nine runs Tuesday afternoon in leading the John A. Logan College baseball team to a 16-5, 17-1 doubleheader sweep of Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Ky. Read more »

For the third straight year, John A. Logan College has the best junior college men’s golf team in Illinois. The Volunteers placed first Monday at the Illinois State Junior College Championship held at Piper Glen Golf Course in Springfield, easily outdistancing runner-up, Blackhawk, by 12 strokes. Logan to Hold Stress Relief Forum
